First from 1988, then from 1993, then from 1995 (still PRE-height loss) and the last 3 are recent, where you can see his whole head is curved forward and he's become severely hunched over (hence the height loss). It's astounding that he's become this badly hunched over at only 66 years old. From what I can see, the curvature began at some point in the late 90's (when he was around 50) and has progressively gotten worse. I have to admit as a Zeppelin fan, JPJ, while no doubt an excellent bassist, was even better at other instruemtns. He was a fantastic keyboardist, and he plays the best mandolin I've ever heard on "Going To California". I have a friend who is an incredible drummer and he cites Moon as his primary influence. And yes, Entwistle played the bass like no one I've ever heard. The man pretty much put the bass on the map, as up until he came along it was largely shoved into the background. He made it much more prevalent to the point where it became almost like a lead instrument. I'm not much as a musician, so I wouldn't know.
