The Rocket League Season 8 release time is rapidly approaching, and developer Psyonix has announced exactly when players of the hit vehicular sports game will be able to kick off.

The new Rocket League season is set to 'Hit The Streets', with a brand new arena and bundles of streetwear accompanying the update. Players will also be able to snag a car taken from real life from the Rocket Pass for the first time in the form of the Honda Civic Type R - one of the best Rocket League cars we've seen on the pass.

The Rocket League Season 8 release time is 16:00 PDT / 19:00 EST on September 6 and 00:00 BST on September 7. However, once the Season 8 download is complete, all players will still have to wait until September 7 before the new season actually begins.
