Managing D&D Characters
You can manage your D&D 5e characters within the plugin. Each character can have its own stats and rolls that you can easily modify. You can create a character from scratch, or import an existing character into the extension from the DNDBeyond website.
When the extension is active, you can click on the pink icon and select "New character" from the dropdown menu. Make sure to check out all the tabs.

Import a DNDBeyond Character
Go to your character sheet on DNDBeyond, eg: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/28454250.
An "Import Character"-button is automaticly added to the character sheet by the extension.

When you press the "Import Character"-button, the extension will try to fetch all character information from the DNDBeyond character sheet, and create a new character for the extension. The "character edit" screen is instantly opened, so you can check your character information.
When a character was already imported into the extension, an "Update Character"-button is added by the extension. This way, you can always "patch" your character information after you made changes to your DNDBeyond character sheet.

Usage
When you have a D&D 5e session on Roll20, you can select the character you want to use, by clicking on its name in the dropdown menu (after you pressed the pink icon).

After selecting the proper character, the click-and-roll menu is added to your screen.

Examples of the click-and-roll menu:

Example 1: If you want to roll for perception, CLICK "Skills", CLICK "Perception", and you will roll "Perception: [[d20+PERCEPTION]]".
Example 2: If you want to make an attack roll with your rapier, CLICK "Combat", SELECT "Rapier", CLICK "Hit Roll", and you will roll "Rapier attack: [[d20+HIT]]". If you HIT, you can CLICK "Damage Roll" for "Rapier damage: [[1d8+DAMAGE]] Piercing".
Example 3: If you have (dis)advantage on your attack roll, you can SHIFT+CLICK for "Rapier attack: [[d20+HIT]] or [[d20+HIT]]". If you (rolled a critical hit and) may deal double damage, you can SHIFT+CLICK for "Rapier damage: [[2d8+DAMAGE]] Piercing".
