peripatetic (adj) – constantly traveling; given to walking about BREAKDOWN: PERI- (around) + PATE- (to walk) + -IC (of or pertaining to)

periphery (noun) – the external boundary, edge, or outskirts BREAKDOWN: PERI- (around) + PHER- (bear) + -Y (state) — peripheral means unimportant, superficial, or on the periphery

periscope (noun) – a viewing device that allows a broad view above the level of direct sight BREAKDOWN: PERI- (around) + SCOPE- (look, see)
