Route 22 East reopens after early morning crash between Routes 512 and 191

A crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer shut Route 22 East for more than two hours early Friday morning in the Bethlehem area, a Northampton County emergency dispatch shift supervisor confirmed.
The wreck was reported about 2:30 a.m. between the Route 512 and Route 191 interchanges in Hanover Township, Northampton County, the supervisor said. No injuries were reported.
One of the saddle tanks burst on the truck, resulting in a fuel spill, the supervisor said.
The highway reopened just after 5 a.m., the supervisor said.
