Geography

Saint Barthelemy is an island state in the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean. The dwarf state has a total area of only 21 km² (eight mi²) and a total coastline of 32 km (19.9 mi). This land area is about 0.6 times the size of Manhattan. In terms of area, Saint Barthelemy is the smallest country in the Americas and the sixth smallest in the world. With 522 inhabitants per km², it is also one of the most densely populated countries.

The island group consists of 11 islands. Saint Barthelemy has no direct neighbors.
