The San Fernando Valley Service Council was formed in 2003, and is comprised of members nominated by Los Angeles County Supervisors Lindsey Horvath (3rd Dist.) and Kathryn Barger (5th Dist), the Mayor of Los Angeles (4), the Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments (COG) and the East Valley cities cluster of Burbank, Glendale, and San Fernando, and appointed by Metro’s Board of Directors.

Overview

The  San Fernando Valley region includes the valley area of the City of Los Angeles and the cities of Agoura Hills, Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, Hidden Hills, San Fernando, and Westlake Village.

The San Fernando Valley Service Council usually meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Marvin Braude Constituent Center in Van Nuys, located at 6262 Van Nuys Bl. The public is invited to attend and participate at Service Council meetings. To submit comments or to receive monthly San Fernando Valley Service Council agendas, email [email protected].
