The Dallas Cowboys (12-5) will host the San Francisco 49ers (10-7) on Sunday in one of the most interesting games in the Wild Card round of the 2022 NFL playoff.

The match seems to come at the right time for the Cowboys, as they won five of their last six games to end the regular season, demolishing the Philadelphia Eagles 51-26 in Week 18.

However, the 49ers also go into the Wild Card game with confidence, as they managed to come back from a 17-point deficit in the last match of the regular season to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in overtime.

First meeting in the playoffs since 1995

Kyle Shanahan's team finished with 449 total yards of offense against the Rams, with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo going 23-of-32 for 316 yards with one passing touchdown.

He delivered a 14-yard strike to receiver Jauan Jennings, who walked into the end zone for the game-tying score. Receiver Brandon Aiyuk recorded six receptions for 107 yards.

Meanwhile, Dallas, who will face their opponents in the playoffs for the first time since 1995, will call upon the services of an in-form Dak Prescott, who finished the year seventh in passing yards (4,449), fourth in passing touchdowns (37), and ninth in QBR (54.9).

The hosts will also hope to get the best version of CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper. Lamb hauled in a team-high 79 passes for 1,102 yards and six scores during the regular season, while Cooper registered 865 yards on 68 grabs and scored eight touchdowns.
