I wanted a name that reflected his culture as well as be able to call him by a nickname. His nickname will be santi (: I don’t like that it is a long name as I prefer short names.

We wanted a name that worked well in English and Spanish (mix cultured family here) Santiago is the Spanish translation of the name James. James is our favorite book of the Bible, Jesus’ brother and my father in-law is also named James. Plus, we love to call him Santi!
