Where is the save data stored at for this game? I ask because before i experienced the crashing issue, it did ask if I wanted to create new save data for this game and i selected yes. I'm hoping that if I delete whatever it created, I can at least get that far again but this time select No, just to see what happens. < > Showing 1-11 of 11 comments Broscar View Profile View Posts 9 Aug, 2018 @ 11:37am https://steamcommunity.com/app/582010/discussions/0/1745594817430281693/ #1 Solvaring View Profile View Posts 9 Aug, 2018 @ 11:45am Thank you ^_^ #2 Solvaring View Profile View Posts 9 Aug, 2018 @ 12:16pm reposted for anyone coming across thisWhere are the save data and configuration files for the game located?Steam Cloud Save Data Location – *We do not recommend removing or altering save data in this folder*C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[YOUR STEAM ID HERE]\582010\remoteConfig.ini / graphics_option.ini / graphics_option_preset.iniC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World #3 DD The Pumpkin King View Profile View Posts 9 Aug, 2018 @ 7:08pm Appreciate this. I'm upgrading so that means a clean install. Developers still like to hide save files in the oddest places. #4 ASH GAMES View Profile View Posts 4 Nov, 2018 @ 6:02am weird I don't see any 582010 in my folder #5 Gr3atsaga View Profile View Posts 7 Feb, 2019 @ 5:03pm

Seriously? You do know that Solvaring's post (taken from the official dev pinned thread) clearly states that the saves are Steam Cloud Saves. Meaning... backing up the saves is not necessary. That's why they are there in the Steam\userdata folder... #6 DD The Pumpkin King View Profile View Posts 7 Feb, 2019 @ 5:59pm

....you do realize this is a 6 month old post.Otherwise, my save is regularly backed up automatically. And no Steam Cloud doesn't count, too unreliable. #7 JÓRJULES View Profile View Posts 21 Oct, 2019 @ 9:53am I lost all my files. I format my PC and I thought that MH is online game didn't need to save the local saves... But Steam Cloud don't work well, because I lost many hours of MH and The Witcher 3... #8 Liamsz View Profile View Posts 5 Oct, 2020 @ 7:08am

well if ppl have an unstable connection sometimes that is not viable and will ♥♥♥♥ up your saves if you go to play the game on a different pc and that's where this comes in handy #10 Amelia View Profile View Posts 31 Jan, 2024 @ 6:33am This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion. #11 < > Showing 1-11 of 11 comments Per page: 1530 50 Monster Hunter: World > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 9 Aug, 2018 @ 11:35amPosts: 11 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
