On January 29th of 2021, the season was confirmed for renewal[1], which was confirmed to release later in the year on October 4th. On September 8th, the official Netflix account dropped the first four teaser images on Twitter[2], followed by the season's official trailer on YouTube[3] on the 20th.

Summary[]
Season 4 takes place two years after Monse left to go study at Mayfield Academy. While she's away, a lot of things changes between the member of the core four. Jamal is now a popular jock who is liked by most girls in school. Ruby is trying to run for senior president while maintaining his relationship with Jasmine, and Cesar is now leading the Santos after Oscar left the gang to pursue a happy life.
