The World[]

GearThe back of the mansion is still unfinished...-GrianThis article is a work-in-progress.Some information might be incomplete. You can help the Hermitcraft Wiki by adding missing information.

The world spawn is on a stone shore near a lake, surrounded by a birch forest and mountains. The world uses a custom spawn location which is roughly X:-1750 Y:64 Z:1500.[1] The bases were all built (or mostly built ) in this area. This area was originally used as a mini shopping district until eventually they were moved to an official shopping district area. The seed was discovered by WonderSim of the Monumenta community.[2]

First Day[]

GearThe back of the mansion is still unfinished...-GrianThis article is a work-in-progress.Some information might be incomplete. You can help the Hermitcraft Wiki by adding missing information.

The Hermits immediately started gathering resources, and chose to settle around the Spawn area. The first death occurred before a lot of the Hermits had even joined, with GoodTimesWithScar falling into cobblestone trying to make a grand entrance. Hermits Helping Hermits also continued into this season, with JoeHills building a small plot of land to help any Hermits who have recently died get back to where they were, stocked with food and starter tools. PearlescentMoon, impulseSV, ZombieCleo and GeminiTay raided a woodland mansion.

Hermits[]

No new Hermits were added in Season 9, likely due to how short Season 8 had been.

Trivia[]

  • There was a lot of pre-release speculation about Season 9, including its start date and related trivia. You can see them in this old revision of this page.
  • This is the first Season of Hermitcraft that the members are all the same from last season meaning that no new hermits joined, returned or left.
  • This is the first Season of Vanilla Hermitcraft with a blind seed, meaning none of the Hermits knew the seed or layout of the world before joining.
  • This is the first season of vanilla Hermitcraft to crossover with a concurrent season.
  • Season 9 was the longest season so far, it lasted for a total of 21 months and 15 days.
  • This season has the most Cameo Hermits of all seasons, due to the Empires Crossover Event and November 18, 2023, the day when a few creators were invited to the server to play Decked Out 2.
  • Across the season, there was an average of 2.412 interactions per episode.
    • An interaction is defined as when two people speak to each other, not including text chat.
