The ninth and final season of The Flash premiered on The CW on February 8, 2023, and concluded on May 24, 2023.[2] Production for a ninth season was confirmed on February 3, 2022, before it was officially announced on March 22, 2022.[4]

The season airs on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM prior to Kung Fu from February 8 to March 8, and Riverdale beginning March 29.[5][6]

On August 1, 2022, it was announced to be the final season of the series.[7]
