I recently saw some discussions about Sebastian’s age on tumblr, so here’s some information.

  • Appearance-wise, Sebastian is supposed to be an adult man in his late 20s ~ early 30s. [source]
  • As for his real age, Yana once commented on twitter:

In the manga Sebastian is referred to as “[Ciel’s] father” or “middle-aged man”, but I personally consider men around the age of 30 irlas “young men”! (lol) Though, Sebastian is probably way beyond “middle-aged man” and is as old as the lives of several long-lived “old men” combined”. - Toboso

So Sebastian’s real age is equal to the lives of “several (*1) long-lived (*2) old men combined”.

According to online dictionary…

  1. The word “several” (数人) usually refers to 2~6 people. [source]
  2. The word ”long-lived” (長寿) refers to people who are 80~110 years old. [source]

With these definitions, we can roughly estimate that (manga!)Sebastian is 160~660 years old. This is quite a huge range, but at least we can safely say that Sebastian is not *that* old, i.e. he most probably isn’t one of those millions/billions-years-old biblical/mythical figures, but just a random (rather young?) demon!

Bonus:

If Sebastian’s maximum age is 700, it means he’s younger than Chibiusa.
