30 Aug, 2015 @ 4:17am Select ALL idle villagers? Is there any way to select ALL idle villagers in AoE2HD (forgotten)?I read that SHIFT or CTRL clicking on the "idle villager" button near minimap (or idle villagers themselves) will do it, but that is not correct.I tried many many times and it just does not work (campaigns). So is there any way to select ALL idle villagers that actually works? < > Showing 1-4 of 4 comments

30 Aug, 2015 @ 8:46pm Not in Age of Empires 2. (However you can do this in Rise of Nations, but alas not in Age of Empires, although it would be a nice feature). I usually set my mouse scroll (either up or down) to idle villager, and whenever I have a spare second I check for idle villagers. #1

31 Aug, 2015 @ 11:35am Would be kind of cool to have a notification that one of your villagers has become idle, just like when a farm or a fish trap expires. #2

31 Aug, 2015 @ 3:38pm So three changes to propose, then? What do you think, guys?1) A "select all idle villagers" shortcut, like CTRL or SHIFT plus the idle button2) An optional notification (a sound cue or a caption like the ones for finished research) for a villager becoming idle3) A display of the number of idlers on top of or somewhere around the button to select an idle villagerSound like a reasonable request, right? #3
