Senator Amy Klobuchar is a candidate in the 2020 presidential election. She announced her candidacy on February 10, 2019.

Klobuchar served as Hennepin County attorney in Minnesota from 1999-2006. She was then elected to the U.S. Senate where she has served since 2007. As a Senator, she is a member of the Committee on the Judiciary, the Joint Economic Committee, the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, Joint Committee on Printing and the Joint Committee on Library. She is also the Ranking Member of the Committee on Rules and Administration, and the Committee on the Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights.
