All flats bordering the Wolf’s Neck State Park are under the jurisdiction of the Freeport Shellfish Conservation Ordinance. Recreational digging for shellfish in Wolf’s Neck State Park does not require a recreational license. The town issues a resident, nonresident, and limited (one day) recreational shellfish license. Licenses are issued by the Town Clerk. Fees: resident recreational, $11; nonresident, $22; limited, $15. Fees are waived for people over age 70 and under age 13.
