Sickening Son Taunt Allegedly Behind LeBron James' Clash With Fan

Details have emerged of the sickening taunt that a fan allegedly used to target NBA superstar LeBron James during ugly scenes on Wednesday.

James caused controversy during the Lakers' clash with the Indiana Pacers when he asked for two fans sitting courtside to be ejected from the arena.

With just over two minutes left in the game, James caught the attention of a referee and brought him over to two fans sitting courtside at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

“This one right f***ing here!”, James could be heard saying, pointing to a young man and woman.

Security then asked the two fans to leave and the woman could be seen making a pouty face and wiping away fake tears as she exited.

“When obscene gestures and language come into it, (it) can’t be tolerated,” James told reporters after the game without going into detail about what was said.

“There’s a difference from cheering for your team and not wanting the other team to win and things I would never say to a fan and they shouldn’t say to me.”

James copped some backlash over the ugly scenes, with many saying the NBA superstar should have ignored whatever was said by the fans.

However fresh reports out of America have highlighted why James might have been so upset.

According to a number of publications, one of the fans allegedly told James they hoped his son Bronny died in a car accident.

One person who said they were at the game made the horrific claim on social media.

"Under no circumstances should a fan think that a courtside seat gives them the right to hurl obscenities, let alone abhorrent remarks like this, at players," wrote Aaditya Krishnamurthy of Fadeaway World.

"These fans should also receive a lifetime ban from NBA games to make a statement."

Fellow journalist Doug Rush tweeted: "If this woman wished LeBron James’ son to die, then LeBron had every single right to have her thrown out of the arena.

"Trash talk is one thing, but that is going way too far."

The game was James' first since a one-game suspension he received for a nasty altercation with Isaiah Stewart of the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

The NBA said Stewart received a two-game ban for "escalating an on-court altercation by repeatedly and aggressively pursuing ... James in an unsportsmanlike manner."

James merited the suspension "for recklessly hitting Stewart in the face and initiating an on-court altercation," the NBA said.

The incident happened in the third quarter, starting when James and Stewart were jostling for position during a free throw.

Their arms appeared to get intertwined and James swung his elbow, making contact with Stewart, who quickly had blood streaming from above his eye.

It appeared as though James attempted to defuse the situation after realising he'd made contact with Stewart and drawn blood.

It didn't take long for most of the players from both teams - along with the referees, coaches and security personnel - to join the fray and try to keep James and Stewart separated.
