If you see an error that says your Microsoft Excel clipboard is full, you'll need to delete some things. This wikiHow will teach you how to clear the clipboard in Excel if you're using Microsoft Excel for Windows. If you're using Excel for Mac, the clipboard used in Excel is a part of the system that you'll find in Finder.

    • If you're using a Mac, you can easily access the clipboard in Finder by clicking Edit > Show Clipboard in the Finder menu. To erase everything in the clipboard, you'll need to copy a blank character from any app (like TextEdit), which will overwrite what you currently have saved.[2]
