This wikiHow shows you how to delete notebooks created in Microsoft OneNote. This feature is useful for clearing out unused notebooks to create more space for new notebooks. Deleting your OneNote notebooks will require access to your OneDrive files, which is where files synced in Microsoft apps are stored.
Steps
1 Open your Internet browser and go to the OneDrive Notebooks page. This will direct you to the website for OneNote's online version of the app.
2 Click Sign In. This will redirect you to a page where you will need to enter the email and password associated with your Microsoft account.
If you don't have an online Microsoft account, you'll need to register the email associated with your Microsoft apps and create a password to access features like deleting notebooks stored in your OneDrive.

3 Select Manage and Delete. This will be on the right side of a gray pane in the top-center of the Notebooks page.
4 Click on the Documents folder. This is the folder where your OneNote notebooks are stored.
5 Click on the check mark by the notebook you want to delete. This is in the top-right corner of the notebook's icon, which will appear when you hover over the notebook.
6 Select Delete. This will be listed in a panel above the notebook files and will delete the notebook from your OneNote account. Advertisement
