All the Apple users out there will certainly know about Siri, voice commanded assistant introduced in 2011 with the iPhone 4S.

We all have been talking to her, trying to tell her the weirdest stuff just to see what the answer would have been like.

Well, finally we can assign a face to a voice as Susan Bennett, that’s the real-life name of Siri, was finally revealed as our pocket assistant’s voice during an interview with CNN.

Susan has been working as a voiceover artist for years, and you can hear her voice in TV commercials, on telephone systems, GPS systems and even in airport lounges.

What’s most surprising about her story is that she didn’t even know her voice has been used by Apple. The records used for Siri were registered in 2005, when she worked with Nuance Communications (known as ScanSoft at hat time) to build a speech database.

When she first heard her voice on an Apple device, she immediately recognized herself. Needless to say she was very surprised at first.
