- I'd reiterate that it's FAR better to buy directly from merchants than the market boards." Back when I needed a "chicken egg" the market board vendors were charging 22k gill for just 2 (there were a bunch selling stacks of 99 for 18k gils). Read a board, ran around looking for a vendor, found one who was selling by the piece for... 5 gil!
