Sofía Vergara can often be counted on to share a rare throwback to her Instagram account. This past Friday, September 16, was no exception, as the Modern Family alum celebrated her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara's 31st birthday with a vintage clip to commemorate the day.

Vergara found some rare home footage from the ’90s for the occasion, which she posted to social media, writing, “Happy bday Mano!!! Luv u.” She also added four red heart emojis.

In the video, the America's Got Talent judge holds up Gonzalez Vergara as a baby, likely no more than a year old.

As the camera rolls, Vergara is seen saying something inaudible to her child. Fans could easily appreciate the sweetness of the moment, as Vergara smiles and presses Gonzalez Vergara's face to hers.

In addition to this rare footage, Vergara also documented a meal the family shared in honor of the birthday boy, which featured her husband, Joe Manganiello, and a couple of other faces. In her caption, she wrote, “Feliz cumpleaños!!”

Gonzalez Vergara thanked his mother in the comments section, where he wrote, “Thank youuuu.”

Fans sent their well-wishes to Vergara's son in the comments too, like one user who wrote, “Lovely family. Happy Birthday!” Another added, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANOLO!!”

Last year, when Vergara's son reached his milestone 30th birthday, the Chef actress posted a special video collage that featured moments from his childhood.

“Happy 30th bday to the best son in the world!!” Vergara wrote in the caption. “You r smarter than u think, stronger than u seem and braver than u believe!!! Keep the good work Manolo!! Stay sexy!! love u @manologonzalezvergara.”
