Even though it is likely a lot of effort you might find another vendors firmware that will load. These smaller companies especially just buy units from a larger manufacture who stamps their name on the units but they are identical internally. Even very large manufacture say asus or tplink do not actually make their own router an wifi radio chips almost all are made by companies like qualcomm and others. What you need to find is a device that has the exact same cpu/processor/memory as yours. There are databases that show some of this information and you can also get some of it from the FCC reports they are required to file for equipment that can be used in the USA.\ At some point though you might just get tired of it and buy a new unit Upvote 0 Downvote Solution You must log in or register to reply here.
