A Anonymous Posted on Nov 11, 2013 Answered Panasonic AG-5210, error code E3

While playing a cassette I got this error message "E3", the record light is flashing, and none of the controls work except the off button. Turning the unit on/off doesn't resolve problem. I can't eject the tape. What should I do?

SOURCE: Panasonic VHS Won't eject Tape

unplug then remove the top cover press down on the cassette release and remove the tape then rewind the part of the tape still sticking out by hand push in the button on the side of the cassette to open the cassette cover

SOURCE: my panasonic AG DV2500 mini dv VCR hates loading and ejecting.

this loading problem in the AG-DV2500 is caused by a defective cassette housing. list price from Panasonic is about $375.00.

SOURCE: Panasonic NV HD630 is showing

You have a K-Deck mechanism. F06 means the mechanism locks after unload. The cause of this is the load motor or the carriage alignment. If you enter "Panasonic K-Deck" into google you should find service information and a guide to getting the tape out - all free!
