How to add a sound

To add a sound to your post: 1. In the TikTok app, tap the Add post + button at the bottom. 2. Tap Add sound at the top of the recording screen. From here, you can: ༚ Tap a sound to preview it. ༚ Select a sound from Recommended, Favorites, or Recent. ༚ Tap the Search button to search for a sound, then tap the Continue ✓ button to confirm your choice.3. Tap the Favorites button to save the sound or the Edit button to adjust the sound clip.4. Tap anywhere on the video to add the sound to your post.

You can also add a sound to your post while on the editing screen.
