Exploits

  • On the map Resistance, there is an easy way for a player to earn a rampage bonus. Once achieving the required level and having enough for a full set. Buy C4 (costs 1500 per five) and head to the building in the middle of the map( shouldn't be too hard considering tha it has a collapsed floor) and plant C4 in the two sections of the room. One near the door that leads to the fenced lawn type area and one near the make-shift ramp that leads down into the floor below. That done head into small kitchen counter area and go prone. Make sure you stay close to the wall and keep an eye on you radar. Once alot of enemies has clustered on or near the areas you've planted your C4 on, blow it up and you should get a nice sum of cash. Rinse and repeat. In higher levels try adding alot more C4 into the mix. Try this for other maps with buildings that you can funnel in enemies too.
  • On the map Resistance, if you go immediately to your left from the spawn point you find some stairs leading up to a small square area with a french cafe at the bottom, if you prone near the tables on the left and move around a bit until you get the 'You can't crouch here sign' dogs cannot get you and you have a perfect shot at the top of the stairs, letting you get a very large killstreak without worrying about dogs. At higher levels (40~) you don't need to move until wave 23. You can also use the above C4 method in this area.
  • Using Unlocks Early (requires a teammate who is a higher level) - Once you have enough money, the higher level teammate can buy items for the lower level teammate. For weapons, just buy the gun with all the requested attachments then pickup an enemy weapon on the floor so you drop the gun you just bought and have your teammate pick it up for use. And they're free to use it until they get rid of it. For Perks, just call in the perk from the airdrop and have your teammate take it instead of you (Exploit only applies to Weapons, including Riot Shield, and Perks) And remember you can repay your teammate by sharing money at any supply crate by pressing X (Xbox) or Square (PS3).
  • Get to a glitched spot on the map Outpost by jumping from the weapons crate onto the barrels infront of the plane's nose and into the plane.
  • Juggernauts can be killed by care packages. If you can get them to stay still long enough it will land on them and kill them.

Strategies and Tips

  • Flash the juggernauts, they stop shooting for a good 5 seconds.
  • Don't re-buy your body armor (refreshing the armor meter) if it's not absolutely necessary.
  • Don't buy any Light Machine Guns except the L86 LSW, unless you have the Sleight of Hand Perk (reload faster).
  • Vary your strategy between rushing enemies and camping; if you rush enemies without firepower, you won't last long at all.
  • You can last many rounds without buying weapons if you stick to scavenging enemy weapons.
  • You can use just the knife in the first 3 rounds to conserve ammo.
  • Plan an escape route which has claymores placed along the way, or create kill zones with minefields of claymores/C4 with sentry guns and lead enemies there.
  • Buy two sentry grenade launchers. Let these two focus on one area together. They will cut down enemies no problem.
  • Don't forget to buy a self-revive if you used it, and keep buying flashbangs.
  • Always have claymores after it gets too crazy for you with ground troops. This slows them down and gives you a little extra time to work on the others. Reload often since they are cheap.
  • Use claymores to watch areas you cant focus on.
  • If you can, try and get your sentry guns under cover when the choppers come out.
  • Buy Predator strikes so you can take out very tough enemies safely. A Predator can take out the 3 Juggernauts in one shot.
  • Take out the juggernauts first.
  • The AK-47 and ACR 6.8 combo works nicely when you get that far. Don't buy them.
  • Shooting the explosive enemies can get you multi-kills (bonus credits), so use that to your advantage.
  • If you have played enough to get level 50 buy sleight of hand. This and self-revive are the only perks worth your money.

3 Tips

By Ruben1610

  1. When you first start wave one you start with a pistol, kill a bad guy and pick up their weapons, keep using their weapons; it saves money.
  2. Killstreaks, headshots, rampage:If you set yourself a goal, for example filling the bar for headshots, all you have to do is shot the bad guys's head's off until the bar is full. compeleting these "objectives" at the end of each round boosts your money up!
  3. When faced with a chopper or a juggernaut

Chopper: keep shooting at the chopper aim at the front as this tends to take it down more easier and faster. Always use shelter for cover against their bullets, it only fires in bursts.

Juggernaut: They're not so hard when you throw a missle down them! :D If you have any grenades, cook them and then throw it at the juggernaut, or if you have enough money to spare buy a missle and watch that money go up!

Wave By Wave incl brief enemy runby.

I have this pinned to my wall and it's very useful for knowing when to hide, when to buy weapons and when I can survive.

The first time you see new people (for instance wave 11 has AK) there will barely be any of them, but the last wave of them there will be a LOT so prepare for this. This is only untrue of FADs as they are in the game forever after they appear so there's a varying amount of them throughout.

Wave 20, predator missiles cost 2.5K, three jugs killed gives you 2.5K. It's worth it. After wave 20 Air strike > pred most times.

Wave 23, the helicopter doesn't come until the last five~ people are left. There are a couple of other waves that do this, but only a very few. This is the first that does it though and it can kill you easily if you don't know about it.

After wave 30 it just becomes manic and there's no real need for a guide.

Medium Up to wave 25 will be out soon. I keep dying at 21. (I'm soloing.)
