So i was just very obviously killed by a speed hacker, it was kind of comical actually watching him zip around the halls of labs lightning fast and kill 2 other guys before getting to me, but my question is, how do i report this guy. I screen shot his name, but i dont have a clip of what i saw. This is the first time iv ever been killed by an "obvious" hack hints why im actually taking the time to post. This is one game i would drop in a heartbeat if hacks get to common. I dont mind the occasional hacker azzhole that thinks hes good or having more fun killing without actually using his own cognitive skill set, but i literally just heard the other day this speed hack was a think from a streamer and then it happens to me at 9:30 am LOL like plEASE DO NOT LET THIS GET OUT OF HAND!

It is already way out of hand, Everytime I do a labs run there is some form of hacker in there now that they have instituted this NEED for a 115k keycard or finding one to get in. By raising the stakes of Labs it has ruined the ability to play labs because most of the people going into labs dont want to risk all that money to be one shot by some hacker. Its literally cost me Millions in rubles in gear and lab cards due to this hacking. The hacking wouldnt be as painful if it DIDN'T cost us anything to get in labs. This game is becoming increasingly frustrating to play now.

Yep same here and its so blatant. not only do you lose the 115k keycard but the 500k plus worth of gear you wore to take on the scavs and legit players all to be undone by one shot each to your entire team while running so fast you can barely see them. Killed me going to Labs at all anymore. Too costly

they wont.... or should I say they will do very little to stop it. They issue " ban waves " then have a big sale at the same time or right after. they want them to cheat because it equals more money. Its sad the game is borderline unplayable between the hackers and the worsening state of the game. everytime they release a patch things get worse and worse . I don't think the game will ever be finished FFS they have fixed doors every patch yet 2 plus years later they still aren't fixed...… but hey we got 23452 new glock mods * HYPE*

Stop spreading false information.

First of all - there are no ban waves. Bans are done daily. You should know that if you actually read the forums.

Second of all - all bans are manual as baning automatically at this stage of development would lead to a lot of false positives due to game issues.

Third of all - There are no sales after lists. Sometimes the ban list just aligns with national celebration.

Why do you complain about mods? Do artists and textures guys are the ones who work on anti-cheat? You can't ask a plumber to be an electrician at the same time.

After the unity engine update in 0.12 AC will improve drastically since it will eliminate a lot of issues that are unity engine preventing to implement some ac features.

Speedhacking issue tho is mind-blowing. It's actually should be the easiest cheat to detect as devs can calculate at what speed a naked guy with hatched and all "stims" injected can run. Anything above the max possible value should be an automatic red flag.

Inbefore moderator approve my comments since i got banned complaining about how the devs were handling their game, yes lab is filled with hacker and it's not even worth going there atm, i did exactly 10 lab run, i survived 1, killed by scavs / raiders once, and got killed by hacker 8 times.

When i enter a lab run, EVERYTIME i hide for around 15 min in very random specific spots, so the first waves of raiders, rushing players gets killed and its easier to move around the lab.

On those 8 times, i died 4 times within the 2-3 minuts after the raid started because i actually got rushed and prefired by wallhackers, like they actually rushin and prefire me while im hiding under a desk in the medical area, tell me thats not wallhackers...

And the others times were speedhackers, as obvious as they are... and got also killed 2 times through walls by players, like they were litterally spamming through the walls to hit me, wearing class 4 armours etc, it takes a lot of shots, but they managed to kill me.

So yeah, 8 blatant obvious times on 10 i got killed by hackers 100% of the times in lab.

Now, imagine how many runs i did at customs, woods, factory and so on, im lvl 32.

Yeah, the game is FILLED with those hackers, it's actually crazy, i actually just checked google and well, there is site offering their service everywhere, how comes the devs can't fix this ? they could buy the hacks themselves to try and figure a way to block it maybe its an option ?

Anyway, i'm quitting the game again like every patch, i love this game, it's beautifull, hardcore, one of the best fps rpg out there, but gosh... there is soooo many problems in it that devs dont fix... it's crazy

unfortunately when you introduce a market into a game, the next thing to come in is a real money market where players can go buy in-game currency for real cash.

these game currency sellers are now running a business and the faster they can farm in game currency the faster they make real cash.

farmers buy the game for ~$45, buy hax for $20-50 (or whatever it costs) and make real cash selling in game currency until they get banned... then buy the game again and continue the cycle until the bans get fast enough that it's no longer financially beneficial.

this is the reason the game has more hackers now and will likely continue to do so until the detection and ban rates make it no longer profitable

... now, a side effect here is that each time those farmers get banned, they buy the game again, meaning BSG get a bonus for another sale. I am NOT SUGGESTING this is intentional by BSG at all, but it's just a reality of what happens when there is an in-game market.

The entry cards are intentional. As no one would player other maps because the value you can leave Lab's is insane. There needs to be an entry cost if the reward is that high. It's just a higher risk/reward arena. Surely the speed hack issue is just a simple: measure x-y-z position change over 1 second (can be done server side), did they exceed the max value? - yes? strike 1. ... 3 strikes in a map. Flag to admins. Ran into 3 (all recorded with names), in 6 lab games yesturday afternoon. Hell, caught a bit of Grim's streaming this morning with an obvious hacker in labs with him.

so true bro, its beyond recovery at this point honestly, here is 3 new guns and 100 new mods for the next 6 months, perhaps bugs aye? .... what a joke.

Graphic designers/artists are unlikely to be able to fix code issues. Yes there will probably be a coder adding theirs objects to the databases with individual stats, but the vast amount of work will be on the artistic side. So either they create new items for the game, or they're sat on their thumbs.

Those are just thinking and no facts, but i guess there is about 5-8k EFT players at the peak times. They have banned about 1k just right now. In a raid there is space for how much? 4-12`pmc`s? do the math, there is propably a 50% chance or even much higher to have a hacker in your actual raid (and i am not even talking about the scav players!!!).

BUT i must say, for me, lab was the best thing that can happen. i am chilling and playing the game slowly, which means i am right now about lvl 10 or 12. So labs doesnt care me right now and since all hack users are on this map, the rest of the maps did get pretty "friendly"

Honestly, I stop eft, too much cheaters killing this game, It's just frustration now. Speedhack, wallhack, very nice gameplay. It was a good game, I hope things get better.

True, but then at what point do you finally decide to hire more or more competent coders to keep up with demand? To me it's not so much the amount of bugs in the game but the reappearance of the bugs the devs said were "fixed."

I am feeling the hacker hate now as well. Started running labs and I've run into 3 hackers today alone. Ran into an aimbot player on Interchange yesterday. Watched Usain Bolt run across woods last weekend and yeet my face off while he was at 88mph going into the future. I love this game. Please hardware ban these hacking fucks that are ruining the game for the rest of us.
