Panthro's Back! ThunderCats' Kevin Michael Richardson on the Missing Thunderian

Relax, ThunderCats fans. Panthro isn't dead. "I noticed a little bit of a rumor about that," Kevin Michael Richardson, who voices Panthro in the Cartoon Network remake, tells TVGuide.com. "Someone said that on Facebook, and I was like, 'Really?' When ThunderCats made its triumphant return to television in July, fans were outraged that Panthro, an integral part of the original '80s-era ThunderCats team, was absent without a satisfactory explanation. In the reboot, Panthro is first reported to be killed in action. Later, a false Panthro is revealed to actually be the evil Mumm-Ra in disguise. After all of this misdirection, it's a relief to know that we'll see the real Panthro back, however briefly, on Friday's episode (8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network).

Is Nine Katie Holmes' Number? And More Movie News!

Casting is under way for director Rob Marshall's adaptation of the musical Nine, and thus far Katie Holmes, Demi Moore and Chicago's Renée Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones have thrown their hats into the ring, says the New York Post.... Woody Allen hopes that his new (of course) untitled film, starring Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem and (of course) Scarlett Johansson, will do for Barcelona what Manhattan did for the Big Apple.... Richard Roundtree has boarded the Wachowskis' live-action Speed Racer, playing a driver turned commentator who's a hero to Speed and a sex machine to all the chicks.

Per Variety, Edward Norton will set aside his indie cred to play Dr. Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk, a more fun follow-up to Ang Lee's Eric Bana-fronted venture.... Christina Ricci is Speed Racer's girlfriend, Trixie.... Per the Hollywood Reporter, Lost's Evangeline Lilly will make her feature debut opposite John Malkovich in the supernatural thriller Afterwards.... Ted Danson has joined Mad Money, the heist comedy starring Katie Holmes, Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah.... Harvey Weinstein tells the New York Post that he's hot to round up Paltrow, Kidman, Dench, Zellweger, Zeta-Jones and Hathaway for a big-screen take on Nine.

Director Bryan Singer has wooed Tom Cruise into taking a role in an untitled thriller based on an attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler at the height of World War II.... The Devil Wears Prada's Emily Blunt will topline The Young Victoria, a biopic of the 19th-century monarch.... Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer, John C. Reilly and Elijah Wood will voice rag dolls from a parallel universe in the animated 9.... Emile Hirsch is in talks to star in the Wachowski siblings' Speed Racer, to film this summer and to be released next year.... New Line has acquired film rights to the hit video game Gears of War.
