History:

I was playing Habbo years ago back from when I was younger at about the year 2006-2007, but in one particular day in those years I was thinking about making a new sentence since mostly everyone uses a slang like "U" to replace "You" and R to replace "R" and I stumbled upon making a sentence just out of letters "ICUP" was formed.

I began starting the joke on Habbo where kids or teens play and interact with each other and it started spreading. A few days later, I went to check out my account, play in the client and join an event, witnessing another users telling it to others and laughing about it but since I did not claim that it was mine.

I wasn't acknowledged among the users as the creator of that very joke. It was spreading faster as the internet improves and my joke got to the hands of kids in their elementary, thus websites acknowledged the fact that it was from kids and until now it has been spreading in a form of a MEME that everyone can now laugh about.
