After getting the hang of the game, I end up just watching youtube while resetting until I get a run with enough bombs + rope + health getting to Olmec. The mechanics aren't interesting enough to warrant this amount of playtime needed to get the true ending. Even when you win, it never feels earned, it just feels like you got lucky. There's also a surprising amount of waiting which makes the game even more boring (waiting for bats to approach, enemies to move, lava to stop spilling into the drill).
