What Are Spider Eyes and What Do They Do in Minecraft

Spider Eyes aren't meant to be eaten in-game. If you do, you'll immediately be poisoned for five seconds and begin losing health. Spider Eyes stand out when they're used to craft other items.

How to Obtain Spider Eyes

There are a few different ways to obtain Spider Eyes. Listed below are all the mobs that drop Spider eyes.

• Spiders/Cave Spiders (1/3 of them dropping Spider Eyes)
• Witches: 0-6

There's also a 28.7% chance you'll find 1-3 Spider Eyes in a chest inside a Desert Temple.

How Much Does a Spider Eye Refill Your Hunger

Spider Eyes should only be eaten if it's your only option. But make sure you have enough health before eating it. Listed below is how many hunger bars a Spider Eye refills.
