Spider-Man: No Way Home's New Trailer Has Arrived - Digital Spy

Spider-Man: No Way Home's second trailer has finally swung in, revealing the huge threat facing Spidey in the new movie.

"We started getting some visitors from every universe," warns Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as a result of the botched spell to get people to forget Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is Spider-Man.

While we don't yet see if this includes certain former Spider-Men, the trailer does give our best look yet at the returning Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and more.

The new trailer was debuted at a fan event in Los Angeles on Tuesday (November 16), before arriving online. To mark the occasion, Sony released a new poster for No Way Home which featured Doctor Strange alongside Spidey.

And if you want more exciting news, it's been confirmed that the new movie will arrive earlier in the UK on Wednesday, December 15, instead of in-line with the US release of December 17.

While other upcoming MCU movies recently had their release dates delayed, Spider-Man: No Way Home has stayed firm on December 17, meaning there's just over a month to go before it swings into cinemas.

The long-awaited third solo movie for Tom Holland's Peter Parker picks up from the cliffhanger ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home. For the first time in Spidey's cinematic history, his identity has been revealed to the world.

Unable to separate his normal life from being the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Peter seeks help from Doctor Strange to make everybody forget who he is. Little does he know that it only leads to the stakes becoming even more dangerous.

Could this movie signal the end of Holland's Spider-Man run? He spoke recently about how it was "bittersweet" to film the final scene, but how he also can't say why it was. "It's the first time since I got cast as Spider-Man that I don't have a contract," he explained.

"It's just really difficult for me to talk about, because there are so many things I'd love to talk about that would help me embellish what I'm trying to explain. But I can't, because it would just ruin the film," Holland explained.

And in case that gets you worrying, he has also been equally mysterious about the new movie featuring the "coolest scene ever", so Holland has clearly just been taking spoiler lessons.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is released in UK cinemas on December 15 and US cinemas on December 17.
