Split screen iPhone?

Hello,

I have an iPhone SE 2020 and I am wondering if I can open two screens at the same time on my iPhone (split screen)? I read on the internet that this is possible, but I can't do this. I have the app split screen, but I can't get whatsapp on it. Can you tell me how I get this?
