Stale Chips: How To Make Them Crispy Again
Maybe your like
I always thought that once a bag of chips was left open and went stale, it was a goner. But I was wrong. Apparently, there are a couple of ways to make those stale chips crispy again…
Chips get stale when they are left open and come in contact with moisture in the air. To get them crispy again, you need to remove that moisture.
Here are two ideas:
- Microwave chips for about two minutes.
- Bake them in an oven for about two minutes.
To keep chips from going stale initially, store them in an air-tight container. You can even freeze chips in an air-tight container to keep them even longer.
Do you salvage stale chips or do you bite the bullet and just buy a whole new bag?
