What is the standard pallet size?

In North America, the standard pallet size is 48″ × 40″ (48 inches long and 40 inches wide)—roughly 4' × 3.33' or about 160 square inches if you're looking for a quick conversion. Wooden “GMA pallets” are by far the most common pallet used in shipping, making up roughly one‑third of all U.S. pallets. Other standard pallet dimensions like 42″ × 42″ and 48″ × 48″ are also widely used for specific industries.
