Accepting The Prismatic Jelly Special Order

On Fall 2 of the first year, you will unlock the special orders board. This is a board directly in front of Mayor Lewis' house that has two pieces of paper attached.

Each of these papers will display a special order. The board will display different special orders each week, which means that you may not be able to accept the Prismatic Jelly quest right away.

More than one special order can be active at a time, so if you already have an order in your journal, you will still be able to accept the Prismatic Jelly quest.

Once you accept the Prismatic Jelly quest, it's time to get started! The quest description will inform you that the Wizard is in need of one prismatic jelly, which can be dropped by the "dangerous prismatic slime, within the local caves."

The time limit for this special order will be seven days. This is a fair amount of time, considering you will only need to collect one item; the quest can easily be completed the day that you accept it.

You will not be able to find prismatic slimes or jelly when this quest is not active.

Where To Find Prismatic Jelly

To obtain prismatic jelly, you will need to head to the Mines in the mountain area, to the northeast of the Carpenter's Shop.

The prismatic slime can be found on any floor of the mines, replacing a normal Slime. The chances of finding a prismatic slime can vary, so we'll outline how to efficiently find one below.

It seems that prismatic slimes have a higher chance of appearing on floors that end with a '5'. As such, it's a good idea to take the elevator down to floors that end in this number. If you don't immediately see a prismatic slime, get back in the elevator and head to the next floor!

Chance Of Finding A Prismatic Slime

Prismatic slimes will have a default chance of 1.2 percent to replace a normal slime.

Prismatic slimes appear as normal slimes, but their colors will change over time. Additionally, as the Wizard said, these slimes are more dangerous. A prismatic slime will have a higher HP and is stronger than a regular slime.

If you have no problem killing regular slimes, then the prismatic slime should be no problem. If you are struggling, though, try to keep a distance from the slime between hits so it does not affect you with the Slimed debuff, which decreases your speed.

A great method to slay a slime is to corner it against the wall or other objects, like rocks. With a cornered slime, you can repeatedly attack, and the slime will not have enough time to lunge forward and attack.

Once the prismatic slime has been slain, it has a 100 percent chance to drop the prismatic jelly.

Daily Luck

Your chance of finding a prismatic slime an increase depending on your daily luck. For example, if your luck is neutral for the day, then you will have a 1.2 percent chance of finding a prismatic slime. With very good luck, though, this will increase, and you may find a prismatic slime sooner.

Daily luck can be checked on the television in your farmhouse, and you can increase it with several items, including the Special Charm and various cooked meals. If you have bad luck, try waiting until the next day to find a prismatic slime.

How To Finish The Special Order

After you have the prismatic jelly, head to the Wizard's Tower on the far left edge of the Cindersap Forest. This is the area directly south of your farm.

To get to the tower, head to the left around the lake. You should see the Wizard's Tower perched on a small cliff on the left edge of the screen. Enter and speak to the Wizard, giving him the jelly.

After giving the prismatic jelly to the wizard, you will be rewarded with 5,000g and the recipe for Monster Musk.

This quest cannot be repeated, so once you finish it, it will not appear on the special order board again.

What Is Monster Musk?

Monster Musk is a unique craftable item that can be used to encounter more monsters. To make this strange perfume, you will need the following materials.

• 30 Slime
• 30 Bat Wing

Upon using Monster Musk, you will receive the Monster Musk buff, which lasts for ten minutes. This buff will double the number of enemies on a floor in the various mines.

Best Uses For Monster Musk

Monster Musk is very helpful if you are trying to farm for monster loot, such as bone fragments or bug meat.

Additionally, if you are aiming to complete any Monster Eradication Goals for the Adventurer's Guild, then Monster Musk can come in handy. Overall, any task that requires a lot of monster parts can benefit from this perfume.
