Steamed king crab legs with garlic butter and lemon is one of my top favorite meals! We rarely have them because they are expensive, but we occasionally splurge on special occasions. I made this steamed king crab legs with garlic butter and lemon recipe to pair with steak, mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus, for a special Valentine’s dinner for my family. We all loved this delicious meal, and we devoured it.
Steamed King Crab Legs with Garlic Butter and Lemon
Ingredients:
- 1 stick of salted butter, melted
- 1 large clove of garlic, minced
- 2 lbs of king crab legs
- Lemon wedges

How to Make Steamed King Crab Legs with Garlic Butter and Lemon
Melt the butter and minced garlic in a small saucepan, and keep warm on its lowest setting.
Set a steamer tray inside a large pot and add enough water to steam the crab. Side Note: Since you are only reheating the crab, you’ll need a few inches of water.
Bring to a boil before laying the crab legs on the steamer.
Cover the pot and steam for 5 minutes.
Remove the crab legs and serve with melted garlic butter and lemon wedges. Enjoy!!!
