Stein Mart Opens Two New Michigan Stores

Two new Stein Mart locations are set to open in Michigan next month. The stores are nearly finished and are being filled with stock ahead of the grand openings in October.

West Bloomfield – Opening October 20, 2016

The West Bloomfield store will occupy the former DSW location in the Gateway Center at 7230 Orchard Lake Rd.

Ann Arbor – Opening October 13, 2016

The Ann Arbor store joins HomeGoods, and Sierra Trading Post in the redevelopment of a former Kmart site in the Maple Village shopping center at 215 N. Maple Rd.

The first Stein Mart location in the area opened last November at Winchester Center in Rochester Hills. Each store has created about 40 new jobs.

“We are very excited about this particular group of stores coming this fall,” said Dawn Robertson, Chief Executive Officer of Stein Mart.” These new stores exemplify our current real estate strategy to fill existing markets where we are doing well and enter newer markets in which we have an opportunity to grow in terms of number of stores and sales volume."

Locations Commercial Real Estate Services is proud to be the exclusive real estate broker for Stein Mart in Michigan. Stein Mart has been very successful here and we are currently working on additional sites.

"We're excited about the expansion. These new Michigan stores are creating jobs and supporting the local economy." Paul Bensman, CEO Locations Commercial Real Estate Services
