Steven Young is a retired football quarterback. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 11, 1961. His Zodiac sign is Libra. Young attended Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut, and was a member of the Cardinals football team. He set 13 national college records and was named one of the best five student-athletes in the country.

Before joining the N.F.L., Young spent two seasons with the Los Angeles Express of the U.S. Football League (U.S.F.L.). In 1984, he signed a 10-year, $40 million contract with the Los Angeles Express of the U.S.F.L. Following his time in the U.S.F.L., he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Young was awarded the Associated Press N.F.L. Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1994 and was the M.V.P. of Super Bowl XXXIX, which the 49ers won over the San Diego Chargers. During his M.V.P. season in 1994, he set a new N.F.L. passing rating record. Young and Jerry Rice appeared in several ads together while they were teammates on the 49ers.In 2001, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Young is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Young became an ESPN football analyst after retiring from football. He spent 15 seasons in the N.F.L.
