Sticks are craftable items in Minecraft which can be used to make a variety of other items. They are used purely for crafting material since they cannot be placed in the world or utilized on their own.
Crafting Sticks
Placing Wooden Planks in a 1x2 pattern on either the 2x2 or 3x3 Crafting Grids will result in the production of four sticks. Like Wooden Planks, the position of the pattern will not affect the outcome in any way. As long as it's vertical.
