So it's been two weeks now since I had my LEEP procedure done. The first week I was doing great, light bleeding, no pain, and some discharge for about a week now. But just yesterday I started to bleed all of a sudden and i wasn't quite sure why.... I have not started my period, still have another week, and I have not been doing anything strenuous to my body. Its still bleeding and today I have been feeling some pain. I know some of ya'll are in the same position as me and are going through some of these stages. I was wondering if this is just a part of the healing process? if not should I call my doctor? i just don't want to risk ANYTHING to disrupt the healing process.

Bless your heart darlin!! :-( I have no idea why you would be bleeding like that right now....tomorrow will make 4wks since my LEEP and on friday evening, I was doubled over in pain again....Pain I hadn't felt except for the first week. I had to actually take my prescribed pain meds again! :( What is up with us?? LOL....

I have no clue! haha I didn't have any pain until now :/ I guess because there is so much moisture that maybe the scab fell off and is still repairing itself. But idk, I was prescribed Hydrocodone, so I think I got the pain taken care of :P I just hope that the bleeding stops. I have gone through more than half a package of pads in 2 weeks! i hate it :(

Let me know how your follow up goes!! I am counting down the days til i can have sex with my Boyfriend again. The waiting is TORTURING us haha

I'm bleeding too today and I've already had my period last week in the middle of it all. The only 'pain' I feel is a slight crapping, but that's about it.

Sex is the farthest thing from my mind! I am very nervous it will hurt. Nevermind the fact that I have to work through it mentally too. Because sex = the possiblity of it all coming back AGAIN.....it'll be a process for me for sure!

Hi Ladies,

trying to figure out the forum. its not as easy as facebook! my leep procedure for CIN2 mod/severe dysplasia was this morning. it hurt. i could feel it and smell the burn. dr said he had to do a second passover each area and go deeper and that was why i had increased pain despite the numbing.

I been laying in bed since 3, i have some aches but not like after the coloscope!

Dr said Light pink, or discharge were okay but if i had any bleeding after this evening to go to the ER. He said take a good vitamin, boost immune system, and he has always been an advocate of veggies as he is a vegan himself. i went from the doctors office to the health store and sat down for a little mini consult. i bought Alive whole food energizer multi-vitamins, Solar Beta glucan, and pearl probiotics. I do not eat red meat, but dont take the time to eat right though i love all those good foods so my diet consists of coffee and desserts. i am trying to increase the veggies.

So now the wait to heal and get my results. sigh i do not have insurance. if everything is gone is the prediagnosed condition gone too?

hope you all start feeling better. hearing my doctor say sometimes there is heavy bleeding do not eat or drink go right to the ER makes me say to you if you are really bleeding call the dr.

i started bleeding and getting some pain about two weeks after my LEEP as well. I'm sure its fairly normal, as long as its not excessive. All part of the lovely healing process lol.

I had my Leep last Thursday. Had only light yellowy discharge until Sunday night and then started bleeding (like a period) but not due for 2 more weeks. No pain-so thought I'd just watch it to see if it would settle on it's own. On Monday, the scab definitely fell off!!! lol and I momentarily thought about going back to ER-after that happened things have slowed right down-still bleeding lightly today but blood looks older-not fresh. So I'll leave it for now as I'm not having any pain and I don't believe there is any infection. Gross-I know but hope it helps! Best wishes.

thanks for the info! I am still bleeding and feeling a bit of cramping, almost like a light peiod but i don't think i should be worried, hopefully it'll stop by the end of the week, i am supposed to start my "official" period on Nov. 2. I really hope my cramps won't be too bad. We'll see what happens and I'll let ya'll know in an update!!

I'm new here. Hope that I'm writing in the correct area and forum.

I keep reading everyone's replies and it's wonderful to see such brilliant support.

I Just wanted to know if anybody knows if it is normal to still have yellow discharge and very, very slight blood (more like spotting of blood) 3 weeks after LEEP conization? No pain, no itching, perhaps a slight odor, but definite yellow discharge.

Hi Buttercup4. If you have a discharge and slight odor you prolly have a vag infection and will need an antibiotic in either a pill or cream form called Metrodonizine or something like that. Don't let it get much worse as you will have pain/discomfort if that is what it is and not treated.

I've had 4 LEEP's, a complete hysterectomy, a cauterization on my vag walls (as I no longer have a cervix), and I'm going for a consultation on a lazor treatment today. Scarey stuff! :(

I found out my husband at the time was cheating on me so I had all the STD tests run that I could think of! It's been downhill since then...I go to a Gyn Oncologist in November
