test is Connections to Nature: Looking Inside, Going Outside, where we encourage young people to explore the natural world and their place in it through the lenses of generational knowledge, human health, urban environments, resiliency, and more.

Quick Contest Details:

  • Free to enter
  • Open to students worldwide, ages 11-18
  • Submissions accepted in visual art, creative writing, poetry, spoken word, film, music, dance, and multimedia
  • Up to $1,000 in cash awards available, including the We All Rise Prize for students in the U.S. who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or Latine
  • Student work becomes part of a global collection that is inspiring the protection of our oceans
  • Submission Deadline June 9, 2025

COLLABORATING FOR BIODIVERSITY – YOUTH ART OPPORTUNITY

Collaborating for Biodiversity is a K-12 youth art project celebrating species protected by the Endangered Species Act. You are invited to submit artworks created in collaboration with two or more youth artists. We’ve created Collaborating for Biodiversity in honor of the 20th Anniversary of Endangered Species Day, Friday, May 16th, 2025.

Submission Deadline April 23, 2025

7th annual Marine corps student art competition- national museum of the marine corps
7th Annual Student Art Competition is now in full swing, and we’re looking for “a few good artists”– students from K-12– to create and send in art based on the theme “Every Clime and Place”. Winners will receive a cash prize, and their work will be on display for a year at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Eligibility Student artwork will be judged in five grade-based categories: K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, and special needs grades K-6 and 7-12. The competition is open to private, public, and homeschool students. Deadline Artwork entries must be submitted via digital copy. Email entries will be accepted starting on February 15, 2025 but will not be considered past April 15, 2025. Only the first fifty submissions in each category will be accepted for consideration. Annual Art Competition on Extreme Weather

The 2024-2025 Challenge Questions are:

1) What will your community look like when we are not using fossil fuels for energy in 20-30 years?

2) What jobs will be needed to adapt to more extreme weather?

3) How can plants and animals adapt to a warmer ocean?
