[∞] The original/short guide Final Words [0] Comments Intro to sugar Lumps Sugar Lumps are a secondary in-game currency (along with Cookies), and are unlocked once you've baked at least one billion cookies.Once unlocked, the player gets a message telling them about sugar lumps, and the first sugar lump starts to grow (located just below the Stats button). Your sugar lumps (and the building levels purchased with them) are permanent, and will carry over across ascensions.You can harvest a Sugar Lump by clicking on it when it is ripe. If you forget to harvest one, don't sweat it - ripe lumps will fall and be harvested automatically if you don't do it in time, and it even works while the game is closed. Sugar Lumps (and their bonuses) are disabled when starting an ascension in Challenge Mode, but they'll still fall (be auto-harvested) behind the scenes.Source[cookieclicker.fandom.com]The are a variety of ways to spend sugar lumps; while primarily serving to permanently upgrade a building's CPS (cookies per second), they can also be used for other purposes that will be covered later on the guide.One point of note is the cost of an upgrade: To upgrade a building, it will cost the building's current level + 1 (Eg: A Level 3 Farm will cost 4 Lumps to get to level 4)When you see a number in square brackets (Eg: "[12]") this refers to how many sugar lumps a specific step costs. Unlocking Minigames [4] The first thing you're gonna want to spend your lumps on is unlocking all of the mini games.As of the creation of this guide, there are 4 mini games available; The Grimoire, The Pantheon, The Garden and The Stock Market.These mini games are unlocked via levelling their respective building up to level 1. (1 sugar lump)At the beginning, some mini games will be more useful than others, so it is recommended that you purchase them in the following order:

1. Wizard Towers to unlock the Grimoire [1]
2. Temples to unlock the Pantheon [1]
3. Farms to unlock the Garden [1]
4. Banks once to unlock the Stock Market [1]

For more info on these mini games and how to utilise them, refer to the wiki[cookieclicker.fandom.com] Levelling up the minigames [122] Once you've got access to the 4 mini games, you should be looking to spend your sugar lumps on upgrading said mini games.The Garden [44]The first mini game you upgrade should be the farm; each additional farm level increases the total number of tiles available (Up until level 9). Allowing more plants to grow at a time.Here is a diagram to show how the garden grows with the farm's level:So spend your next 44 sugar lumps (total lumps needed to reach farm level 9) on upgrading your farms.The Stock Market [78]Now that your garden is at maximum size, you should look to upgrade the stock market.With the stock market, there are a few ways to increase your warehouse storage: upgrading the office, upgrading (+10) or purchasing (+1) the buildings tied to a specific stock. In this guide we'll be doing the first; as it is the most effective use of our lumps.Office Upgrades: Icon Name Description Office Level Cost to Upgrade Credit garage This is your starting office.Upgrading will grant you:+25 warehouse space for all goods 1 100 Cursors (level 2+) Tiny bank This is your office.Upgrading will grant you:+1 loan slot+50 warehouse space for all goods 2 200 Cursors (level 4+) Loaning company This is your office.Upgrading will grant you:+75 warehouse space for all goods 3 350 Cursors (level 8+) Finance headquarters This is your office.Upgrading will grant you:+1 loan slot+100 warehouse space for all goods 4 500 Cursors (level 10+) International exchange This is your office.Upgrading will grant you:+1 loan slot+50% base warehouse space for all goods 5 700 Cursors (level 12+) Palace of Greed This is your office.It is fully upgraded. Its lavish interiors, spanning across innumerable floors, are host to many a decadent party, owing to your nigh-unfathomable wealth. 6 N/A So you want to spend your sugar lumps on reaching each level of office, by upgrading your cursors.Note: save up the lumps you need to get the next loan before using lumps, loans unlock at Cursor levels 4, 10 and 12 requiring 10, 45 and 23 lumps from the last one Stockpiling Now you want to stockpile 100 lumps to get the maximum bonus from the Sugar Baking heavenly upgradeOnce you have 100 sugar lumps saved up, begin spending any extra following the steps in either option A or option B (Pick the route that best matches your play style) Option A: Click Combo [252 / 132] This option is more efficient for pure cookie count (assuming your cookies come from click combos) but is slower in getting all the achievements.

1. Level farms up to 10 for the Sugar Crystal Cookies boost and the achievement (You can drop to 94) [10]
2. Level up Cursors to 18 for the aura gloves boost (You can drop to 94 lumps when going to level 13, then to 95 on the rest) [93]
3. Level up Cortex Bakers to 10 for the Sugar Crystal Cookies boost and the achievement (Can drop to 94 on the final level). [55]
4. Level up Cursors to 19 for the aura gloves boost (Can drop to 95) [19]
5. Level up Idleverses to 10 for the Sugar Crystal Cookies boost and the achievement (Can drop to 94 on the final level) [55]
6. Level up Cursors to 20 for the final aura gloves boost (Can drop to 95) [20]

Once you've completed all of the steps above, go to option B and work your way through those steps Option B: Achievements [942 / 882] Picking this first will get you all the achievements faster than Option B.Spend any lumps above 100 to level your buildings up to level 10 and no more (Can drop to 94 on the final level).The suggested order is:

1. Farms [10]
2. Cortex Bakers[55]
3. Idleverses [55]
4. Fractal Engines [55]
5. Grandmas [55]
6. Banks [54]
7. Wizard Towers [54]
8. Javascript Consoles [55]
9. Chancemakers [55]
10. Prisms [55]
11. Temples [54]
12. The rest in any order (the cps increase is negligible) [385]

If you chose to do this option first, proceed to option B once all buildings are at level 10 Now What? [∞] So you've got every building to level 10, every last cps boost from the aura gloves and in total you spent [1145] sugar lumps.Now what should you spend your lumps on?Well you have a few choices:

• Sugar Frenzies
• Refilling the magic meter
• Levelling buildings to beyond level 10

And remember to keep your total lumps above 100

It is also recommended to keep 55 spare, just in case a new building is added
