The purpose of the company was to stand up for the little guy and defend class action lawsuits against large companies.
Ahead of his decision to leave, the actor told The Hollywood Reporter back in 2018 that there were a number of reasons behind it.
He said: After seven seasons — really, eight years of being away from home and away from my now-wife and there was that pressure.”
Adams married fellow actor Troian Bellisario back in 2016, and the pair now have a child together.

He also told the publication that he felt he had come to an end with what he could achieve with the character.
The star added: “I started thinking about leaving at the end of the first half of season six, after Mike was released from prison.
“From a story point of view, I was a little unsure of what was left for him to do.
“Mike had made the pledge during his trial that if he were allowed to continue to practice the law, he would dedicate his time and energy to underrepresented people and not big, corporate interests.
“I wasn’t sure how we were going to work that version of the character into the fabric of the show.”

He also admitted that he made the final decision halfway through season seven when he opted not to renew his contract.
Adams left at the same time as his on-screen love interest Meghan Markle, who was leaving acting after she became engaged to Prince Harry.
Speaking about the end of their storyline, Adams added that they both grew up together on the cast so it felt good to leave at the same time.
He said: “There was this natural sense that we both knew that the time had come for both of us."

He added: “It went unspoken and we just enjoyed the hell out of the last few episodes that we got to shoot.”
However, it was not the last chance for fans to see the beloved character, who guest starred in two episodes of the final season.
He came back to face-off his old mentor Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) in court.
