The actual Southern California locations where the 2007 movie "Superbad" was filmed.
Nerdy high school student 'Fogell' (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), goes into "TJ's Liquor", and attempts to buy $100 worth of alcohol, sporting a fake ID with a single name: "McLOVIN".
Two cops (Bill Hader & Seth Rogen) arrive on the scene, get a bang out of the fake name, and take the kid on a wild tour of the city in their squad car.
These liquor store robbery scenes were filmed at "7 Days Food Store", in a small strip mall at 1700 Victory Blvd, in Glendale, CA.
The parking lot of that same small strip mall is also where 'Seth' (Jonah Hill) gets hit by a car, driven by a creepy guy named 'Francis' (Joe Lo Truglio) who then drives Seth & 'Evan' (Michael Cera) to a dangerous house party. That scene was shot in the narrow parking lot along Victory Blvd, in front of the liquor store, near a yellow locksmith kiosk.
But before that infamous liquor store scene, Seth, convinced that the fake "McLovin" ID will never work, first tries to steal the booze himself from a supermarket - but he chickens out after he imagines being murdered by the store's security guard. Those supermarket scenes were filmed a former Von's market, now called "Jon's Market", at 1717 W Glenoaks Blvd, in Glendale, CA. ( That's at the northwest corner of Glenoaks & Western Ave, only one mile northeast of the liquor store. )
That's on the south side of the street, less than a mile northeast of the block where they filmed the party house and the police chase scenes.
[ Warning: this is a private home. Do not trespass on their property, knock on their door, or do anything else that might disturb the residents.]
El Segundo is just south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and north of Manhattan Beach. In the shot above, the camera is looking east, at the main entrance to the high school's main building (which faces Main Street). In the shot below (including the school sign), the camera is looking southeast, towards at a matching brick school building just south of the main building.
The track & field scenes, with 'Seth' running, (then being insulted when he fails to keep up with the other runners), were also shot at El Segundo High, on the south side of the school's main (oval) track, behind the south grandstands. ( In the photo above, the camera is looking east/southeast. )
When Seth & Evan first arrive at school, Seth wants to buy a 'Red Bull" drink at a nearby mini-mart, so he parks illegally in the faculty parking lot (and his car gets towed). That parking lot scene (above) was shot in a small parking lot on the south side of El Segundo High.
The shot below (of high school kids crossing the street, heading for the school), was shot next to the faculty parking lot, looking west up E. Mariposa Avenue (just east of Standard St).
It would have been a long walk from the school... Those mini-mart scenes were shot at the "Overland Mini-Market" at 4273 Overland Ave, in Culver City, CA. ( That's a good 10 miles northeast of the high school. ) The store is in a strip mall at the west/northwest corner of Overland & Braddock Drive ...just two miles north of the Fox Hills Mall. The most memorable moment in "Superbad" is, no doubt, the scene in the liquor store.
In the middle of his attempt, the store is robbed, and "McLovin" is punched out by the robber.

Evan's house is seen briefly near the start of the film. That house can be found at 17200 Rayen Street, in Northridge, CA, just east of Louise Ave.
The scenes of the kids' high school ("Clark Secondary School") were filmed at El Segundo High School, at 640 Main Street, in El Segundo, CA (the same high school attended by "Joan of Arcadia").

After parking in the faculty lot, Seth and Evan walk across to a mini-mart to get Seth's "Red Bull". In the store, they look at a photo of a topless girl on the cover of a men's magazine, and discuss their chances of scoring with prospective girlfriends. On the way out of the store, they are accosted by a student who spits on Seth, and tells him he can't come to his party.
