Two or more equations that share variables.
Example: two equations that share the variables x and y:
x + y = 6 −3x + y = 2
Those two equations are shown in the graph.
When we have at least as many equations as variables we may be able to solve them (show where they intersect).
The solution for this example is where the lines cross at (1,5)
