SZA fans have been begging for a new album from the R&B superstar for years, but now the woman herself has confirmed that her second full length release will indeed drop in 2021.

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, SZA revealed that the follow-up to 2017’s Ctrl would be out this year, as well as giving some details about what she’s putting into it.

“This album is going to be the shit that made me feel something in my (heart and gut),” she said.

“That’s what’s going to go on the album. I’m making all different types of shit every day from different places in my spirit.”

While it had been a long time since we’d heard anything from SZA, 2020 did give us two new songs – ‘Hit Different’ alongside Ty Dolla $ign and ‘Good Days‘, which dropped by surprise on Christmas Day.
