Purchased one and wouldn't take a charge. Returned and purchased the second one. After charging removed the charging cord and broke off the charger. Returning this one also.

Buyer Beware

What a piece of crap, and because I fell for the buy one and get the second for a separate fee scam I now have two pieces of garbage that will clutter the landfill. Had I only bought one I would have helped the environment because there would be one less in the landfill. Bell and Howell should be ashamed to be a name responsible for this CRAP!

So happy that I read these reviews and Decided not to order. It would have been for a 92 year old in residential care and appears it would have been a waste of his money. Completely worthless - I think the key to any of these ads on TV is if they say “buy now and we will double your order for just shipping costs” you know you’re wasting your money. Also not at all what it looked like on TV ads. Thank goodness I purchased in a Store and could return it.

Seriously A Piece of Junk

This is the "BIGGEST SCHAM" ever. I have purchased a lot of electric shaver in my 65 yrs and this is so full of bull. It even doesn't cut my facial hair. I ended up using a regular razor. I figure get it a one-day stubble shave and it didn't even work again. Back to the razor. All I have to say is don't waste your money on this piece of Junk. I also have purchased the sunglasses they broke after a few months and the visor shade that's a piece of junk you can't see clearly thoroughly through it. Don't waste your money period!

This Device Doesn't Work

I got the Tac Shaver as a gift I must have tuff stubble because this crap doesn't work on my face. I would rather use the trusty ole Norelco, do yourself a favor don't order this shaver.

Disappointed

Had high hopes for this son of a gun. Tried using it to shave my face, my chest, and my asstreeks. Dang thing on the bottom popped off and knicked my apple bag. Highly recommend.

False Advertising

The razor I received is not the razor pictured on TV. That razor on the commercial shows the blades straight across the top. My razor arrived with a concave head. There is no way you can shave your face with this. Don't waste your money!

Poor Customer Service for Defective Products

Purchased the Tac Shaver for my husband while he was in the hospital with blood clots. He can no longer use a razor so this shaver sounded ideal. After 6 weeks, it stopped charging. (Plugged it in for over 48 hours and it was still not charged and would turn on for only a minute or two) Called about it and because I bought it in a store, I require the box, paperwork, and receipt to get a replacement. Which I don't want. The box, etc., was tossed accidentally in the hospital. Wasted $29.99 in my opinion.

Deceptive

Beware of Deceptive practices when ordering online. I never completed the order online because the prompts keep trying to tack on extra fees and products. I closed out the order without completing it. They even sent a follow-up email trying to lure me back to the site to complete my purchase. Several hours later, I received an email thanking me for my purchase. I immediately called to cancel the order but was told it was already "pulled for shipping" which is obviously a lie. Don't even visit the site.

The same thing happened to me. I closed out the order without completing the order through PayPal. Several hours later (same as you) I got an email thanking me for my order. I emailed them several times to cancel to no avail. I contacted PayPal and they said it was a legitimate sale and could not get involved. Then to add insult to injury, Tac Shaver had planned to take money out every month. I quickly clicked the bottom to stop that. Finally, I got the shaver and my husband hates it. It does not shave close and leaves a stubble on it. They used fraud to complete my purchase and I am not happy about it. Sorry to see that I am not the only one that this has happened.

I have one and it worked fine. Maybe, we are just lucky? Of course, it eventually went out. Brought, another one at Walmart. Do not know, how the new one will work. As, I have not tried it, yet. Charging for the first time, now. Full disclosure. I used to work for Bell &Howell when I was much younger. Back then, they mostly made video cassettes. Now, they are making a lot of new things, these days. One thing, that, does annoy me, is they do not tell you, a power adapter is required on the package.

Might Work on a 12 Year Olds Peach Fuzz

I never order as seen on TV. I wait until it's for sale in a store where it is easily returned and most of them are returned. I bought the Tac Shaver at my local Walmart. Thank god because it was useless. Do not waste time or money on this.

Confused. Works Well For Me

Seriously. The charging port is built into the razor. Where are all these reviewers finding slots for a AAA battery? Otherwise, it works great. A single charge lasts almost a week. It's almost as if there we're two separate razors being reviewed.

Garbage

This might be ok if the base didn't fall off the first time I used it. And secondly, it is using a 1.5-volt battery which does not hold a charge long enough for one complete shave. And third, the battery has insufficient amperage for a motorized product.

Scam web Site

I went to order them online. When the price went up, I tried to back out of the order. I never authorized them to charge anything on my credit card. They charged me and sent them. I disputed the charge. Do not order online.
