Tekken X Super Smash Bros Release Date | When Will Kazuya Be ...

We now know exactly when Kazuya from Tekken will appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and fans don't have to wait much longer for this Tekken DLC to arrive in the game.

Tekken originally launched in 1995, and Super Smash Bros dates back to 1999, so this crossover event certainly has a lot of history behind it! Both franchises are known for putting a fun spin on fighting, of course, but they couldn't be more different in terms of moment to moment gameplay.

It should be fun to see Kazuya - and several other recognisable elements of Tekken - showing up in the latest DLC add-on for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, even though it might be a little weird to see him beating up Mario, Pikachu, Link and all the other Nintendo heroes in the game.

Tekken X Super Smash Bros release date

The exact release date for the Tekken content in Super Smash Bros Ultimate has now been confirmed - Kazuya will now arrive in the game on Tuesday 29th June 2021, with the DLC pack being priced at $5.99 USD. Or if you've already bought Fighter Pass Vol. 2, you'll get him included at no extra cost.

Nintendo confirmed this during a presentation all about Kazuya on 28th June 2021, which you can watch in full below if you missed it...

In that video, you can take a look at the DLC in more detail - from a 39-song soundtrack to the Mishima Dojo stage, via numerous colour variations and even a Kazuya version of Kirby, this looks set to be a fairly full-on blending of Smash Bros and Tekken.
